Most accelerators give a founder a check and a mentor. We give them the legal structure and the work tracking, so a team can recruit anyone in the world and pay them in ownership instead of promises.
We run on it ourselves. Our CEO in Nairobi was elected. Our own equity ledger is built from peer reviewed tasks. Nobody had to be asked to trust it, because everyone can see it.
The first cohort is forming now. Teams so far include HealthDocX and IntegralMASS, with founders working in healthcare, microfinance, and risk and compliance. Some are juniors from Nairobi and Lagos. Some have run companies before.
What we are asking for
$200 is enough to say you were here at the start. Your name goes on the page and you get the monthly note from the cohort.
$500 goes into the stipend pool, which is shared out across the founders in proportion to the work they log. It is what lets them do this instead of contract work. Several people funding one pool is how it is meant to work.
$1,000 is the level for a business. You go where the founders can see you, and we will find you a slot to talk to them if you want one.
$5,000 puts your name on a piece of the program itself, and gets you a first look at every company that comes out of it.
If you would rather give something other than money
Several of the people we have talked to have an API, or credits, or hosting, or a license they can hand over. That counts, and it is often worth more to a founder than the cash. Tell us what you have and we will tell you honestly whether the cohort will use it.
If you want to run a session for the teams, we would love that. If you are too busy, that is completely fine and it changes nothing about the sponsorship.
