Golda (7/5/2026) on RTV volunteers + community tools: RTV volunteers are mostly remote; 'I'm a software engineer, not a person organizer'; group does alright but isn't growing as it could. Thesis: people need to get something socially out of the action — sense of community, nurture, 'warm and fuzzy', not over-scratched. Named failure mode (her own words): 'I tend to overexhaust people because we got so much stuff to do.' Tools direction: VolunTask (Marten/Taiga fork adapted for volunteers, different look/feel); AE group chats around actions; 'anybody could put a wish and create an action'; community actions not just protests. Local Tucson: plug into existing groups; in-person gatherings that aren't overtly political to strengthen community — but not endless meetings ('they wanna talk and talk and talk...
